filthy experience

Yay!! we were all so excited, we were gonna watch Sivaji. For the first and probably last time we decided to potray ourselves as fanatical worshippers of the icon..not in the literal sense but we realized that this was the priceless moment in which we could exhibit our exuberance..We emptied the paper shredder to throw the rubbish at the first mention of thalaivars name..my frds mom who had accompanied us was screaming, no1 wud believe u guys study@MIT..but we cared a damn...we wanted to create the perfect Rajni movie atmosphere at a place away from home...we were so ready and prepared to celebrate..but amongst all this came out thalaivar dancing like a frog in his intro song, clad in ramarajan level clothes, in a fight sequence worth forgetting dampening all our spirits and enthusiasm at the end of the first hour...specifically the use of the word "pazhagify" nauseated me to no end..i knew i dint belong in there.. I began to wonder...

a rational person would find it extremely hard to accept an illogical shoddy movie such as this that take general public for a ride..with disgusting scenes like using fair n lovely and other crap to change skin color taking up more than 20min of the movie 1 wonders if the movie offered nethg at all...there is a thin line between disgust and clumsy humor and I can definitely say that the line was not even in sight..i dunno whom to blame..the public who have begun to accept such movies or the production who have the audacity to make such movies with rajnikanth knowing fully well that it would be a hit irrespective of how filthy its been shot...overall a repulsive experience...i am not making an attempt to ostracize or lampoon the public but pity their high levels of tolerance...

am not a fanatic in the first place...well...my answer to this post is already there and u read it..but the point that there were better rajini movies made...thats silly...the comedy that chandramukhi provided? or baba? or for that matter even padayappa or muthu...were in most of the cases Senthil gets kicked on his butts...that definitely doesnt bring out laughter in me...as far as padayappa was concerned it was ramya krishnan who took it to a different level...as i did say, when u look at sheer entertainment, this movie did provide it for many...do learn one thing...gone are the days of MMKR...where the entire movie can be looked at and laughed...coz u dont have a nagesh or crazy mohan working on all the movies...in an era were most of the so called comic gimmicks are out of the fact that an individual gets beaten up or are vulgar crap, this movie dint have those in plenty...last but not the least dude..if u think u can make sensible movies having Rajini as a hero, then u probably are at the right place but at the wrong time...apart from the language in u r blog...i tend to disagree and dismiss it as crap! :)
